Safari Overview
Embark on the ultimate Kenya Tanzania safari adventure combining five of Africa’s most legendary wildlife destinations in one unforgettable journey. This carefully crafted 10-day itinerary takes you through the very best of East Africa, where endless plains meet extraordinary wildlife encounters that leave you breathless.
Your Kenya Tanzania safari begins in Kenya’s stunning Lake Naivasha, a freshwater sanctuary in the Great Rift Valley where hippos wallow and over 400 bird species paint the skies. From here, venture into the world-renowned Maasai Mara Game Reserve, where the legendary Great Migration unfolds against golden savannahs. Witness lions stalking prey, cheetahs sprinting across open plains, and if you’re fortunate, experience the dramatic river crossings that define Africa’s most spectacular wildlife show.
Continue to Amboseli National Park, where massive elephant herds roam beneath the snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro. This iconic backdrop creates photography opportunities that safari dreams are made of, with Africa’s gentle giants framed against the continent’s highest mountain.
Crossing into Tanzania, your Kenya Tanzania safari reaches the magnificent Serengeti National Park, an endless wilderness where over 2.5 million animals roam free. The Serengeti’s vast golden plains host Africa’s largest lion population alongside leopards, cheetahs, and countless prey species. Every game drive reveals nature’s raw drama—predator and prey locked in the eternal dance of survival.
Your journey culminates at the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and natural amphitheater teeming with wildlife. This collapsed volcanic caldera offers the best opportunity to encounter the Big Five in a single day, with rhinos, lions, elephants, buffalo, and leopards concentrated within the crater’s 100-square-mile floor.
This Kenya Tanzania safari delivers exceptional value by combining both countries’ premier destinations into one seamless adventure. You’ll maximize your game viewing opportunities across diverse ecosystems—from the Great Rift Valley’s lakes and the Maasai Mara’s rolling grasslands to Amboseli’s swamps and the Serengeti’s endless plains.
Whether you’re witnessing the Migration, photographing elephants against Kilimanjaro, or descending into the world’s largest intact caldera, this 10-day Kenya Tanzania safari offers the complete East African experience. Every destination represents the pinnacle of African wildlife viewing, creating memories that last a lifetime.
