Safari Overview
This is a private safari with your own safari vehicle and driver guide. Amboseli National Park boasts over 80 different types of mammals and over 400 bird species. Its main attraction is huge numbers of big tasked elephants which can be viewed at close range. Other animals which can be seen in the park include Cape buffalo, lion, cheetah and many others. Birds to be seen include the Madagascar pond-heron, lesser flamingo, lesser kestrel, and over 40 species of birds of prey among many others.

Day to Day Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
You’ll be picked up from your hotel or the airport. Depart Nairobi in the morning for sunrise and travel to the Amboseli National Park at the foot of snowcapped Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. Arrive in time for lunch. Then check in and have lunch. After lunch and a short rest, you will embark on an afternoon game drive watching various wildlife in their natural habitat. Get back to the lodge in the evening.
Day 2: Amboseli National Park
Wake up to amazing views of Mount Kilimanjaro if the weather permits. After breakfast, engage in full-day game drives in this wonderful park where Mount Kilimanjaro’s background offers good photographic scenery coupled with animals on the ground—the Big Five and the prolific birdlife in this African wilderness park. You will have the opportunity of seeing big heards of elephants up close. Another exciting place will be the observation point where you will have a bird’s eye view of the expansive park below teaming with wildlife. There will also be an optional Maasai village visit. Then get back to the lodge in the evening.
Day 3: Departure to Nairobi
After breakfast, you will depart your hotel and drive leisurely to Nairobi. On arrival, you will get a drop-off at your hotel or the airport. That will be the end of the 3 days Amboseli National Park safari.
